Detailed Description of the Native ASP Barcode Generator

The PrecisionID Native ASP Barcode Generator enables web based implementation of Code 128, Code 39, UPC-A, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN13, POSTNET, Planet, and MSI Barcodes. It generates barcodes with pure ASP code without dependencies, components, or DLLs. Once the ASP file is copied to an ASP enabled web-server, barcodes are easily generated by any web browser.

Each barcode type is generated by a dedicated ASP file for minimal overhead and exceptionally fast execution.  Each ASP file provided is self contained and is written in pure ASP code.  It may be used "as is" or may be modified and/or embedded into an ASP application. The barcode images are simple black and white bit-mapped images that are very small (typically less than 2 KB).  Because a bit mapped image is streamed to the browser, no temporary files are required on the server.  Further, this product is compatible with ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Pearl, JavaScript and many other development environments and web applications.

Native ASP Barcode Generator Package Contents

The PrecisionID Native ASP Barcode Generator Package includes an ASP file for each barcode type and a User's Guide which includes tutorials that explain step-by-step the application of the ASP files. Code examples are provided for HTML, ASP, and JavaScript. The manual also includes details of all the parameters for integration into your web pages.
